[암송구절#2] 새해 영어 성경 Mark 12:30

KJV

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

 

NIV

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

 

개역한글

네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하고 힘을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하신 것이요

 

 

 

KJV와 NIV에 차이가 있으므로 선택하셔서 암기하셔야 될 것 같습니다.

 

가장 큰 차이점은 KJV에 마지막 부분 "this is the first commandment."("이것이 첫번째 계명이니라")이 NIV에는 빠져 있습니다. 

 

따라서 KJV로 외우고 싶으신 분들은 고어인 thou, shalt, thy를 각각 you, shall,, your로 고쳐서 외우시면 큰 어려움 없이 외우실 수 있을 것입니다.

 

-thou = you

-shalt = shall

-thy = your

 

위 단어들만 바꿔서 아래에 다시 써 보겠습니다.
